Since its 2011 opening, Southern Costume Company has provided costuming and wardrobe assistance on productions in New Orleans and throughout Louisiana, including Treme, The Butler, 12 Years a Slave, Dallas Buyers Club, 21 Jump Street (both 1 and 2) and many others. 

This Hollywood-style costume house located in the New Orleans Central Business District (CBD), allows the public an opportunity to be costumed just like the stars by providing top-of-the-line costume rentals – many of which have been used in Oscar award-winning films and television movies.

For local area productions, Southern Costume Company makes available to the film industry a 9,000 sq. ft. warehouse space containing cages, design rooms/office space, on-site seamstresses, wardrobe rentals, wardrobe/costuming supplies and street-level freight and loading.

Southern Costume Company is working with several Mardi Gras organizations and providing Court and Krewe costumes.
