Welcome to Southern Costume Company

Since its 2011 opening, Southern Costume Company has provided costuming and wardrobe assistance on productions in New Orleans and throughout Louisiana, including Treme, Memphis Beat, 21 Jump Street and many others. This Hollywood-style costume house located in the New Orleans Central Business District (CBD), allows the public an opportunity to be costumed just like the stars by providing top-of-the-line costume rentals – many of which have been used in Oscar award-winning films and television movies.

For local area productions, Southern Costume Company makes available to the film industry a 9,000 sq. ft. warehouse space containing cages, design rooms/office space, on-site seamstresses, wardrobe rentals, wardrobe/costuming supplies and street-level freight and loading.

No matter the occasion, when looking for costumes, New Orleans residents and visitors turn to Southern Costume Company for all of their costuming needs.
